Gustav-von-Schlör-Schule, Staatliche Fachoberschule und Berufsoberschule Weiden
Our college of further education, located in the southern part of Germany in northern Bavaria's Upper Palatinate region, approximately 200 km from Munich, serves around 900 students annually. We provide a two-to-three-year educational program focused on both academic and practical training. The curriculum includes fundamental subjects such as Mathematics, German, English, Natural Sciences, History, and Social Studies, alongside specialized sectors including Business and Administration, International Economics, Technology and Electronics, Social and Health Care, and Art and Design. Our mission is to broaden students' professional and personal horizons by equipping them with key skills, professional expertise, foreign language proficiency, and cultural experiences. We emphasize flexibility, mobility, and adaptability, preparing students for integration into the workforce while fostering their ability to handle new technologies and media effectively. The college is currently focused on development goals such as digitalization, inclusion, and sustainability. Sustainability is a cornerstone of our philosophy, reflected in environmental projects such as planting hedges in collaboration with the regional water authority, organizing excursions on nature ethics and sustainable practices, building insect hotels, hanging nest boxes for local bird species, sowing flower fields, and hosting flea markets to promote sustainable consumption. A key upcoming initiative is the launch of a Repair Café, where students from the technical department will work alongside professionals to develop repair skills and promote sustainability. Our students, typically aged 16 to 20, come from diverse educational backgrounds and can continue their studies at universities of applied sciences or regular universities after graduation. We also offer an Integration Class for migrant students, helping them transition into the German school system and achieve their educational goals.

Institut Joan Brossa
Institut Joan Brossa is located in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain, and places great importance on organizing activities that involve families and the local community to put children at the center of the learning process. Students learn a variety of subjects, including mathematics, social sciences, science, languages (Catalan, Spanish, and English), and physical education, with a strong emphasis on ICT and collaborative activities. Each project focuses on fostering students' education and academic success. Our goal is to teach students to respect other cultures, be creative and independent, express their thoughts and beliefs freely, and work effectively in teams. We aim to make both students and staff more creative and innovative, encouraging them to use their talents and potential. At Institut Joan Brossa, we actively promote international mobility for both students and teachers, convinced of its benefits in improving personal and professional skills, language proficiency, and cultural awareness. Teachers and students participate in mobility programs organized by the Department of Education, the Barcelona Vocational Training Foundation, and SEPIE (the national Erasmus+ agency). The school has a strong history in mobility projects, including student internships and study scholarships abroad, teacher mobility programs, international cooperation projects, and strategic partnerships for innovation and recognition of studies (ECVET). Our student body consists of 350 learners from diverse social backgrounds, including 35 students from asylum-seeking, unemployed, or divorced families, as well as 11 participants in special education programs. We also have migrant students from Morocco, South America, China, Romania, and other countries. We encourage disadvantaged students to engage more in school and social life by involving them in extracurricular activities. All students aged 14 to 18 can join local activities, workshops, and webinars, while those from disadvantaged groups are prioritized for international travel opportunities. We hope that active participation in project events will raise awareness of climate change and inspire students to take action as they represent the generations that the world depends on.

Oguz Canpolat Anadolu Lisesi
Our school is a state school located in Istanbul with 16 classrooms. We offer a wide range of courses, including English, German, Turkish Literature, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Social Sciences, Home Economics, Technology, ICT, Religious Education, Art, and more. To enrich our students' educational experience, we organize various activities that allow them to engage actively in school life. These activities provide leadership opportunities, foster personal growth, and encourage students to interact with peers from diverse backgrounds, enhancing their understanding and appreciation of diversity.
We also hold club day activities, where students participate in at least one activity twice a week. Some of the areas include science activities (such as national TUBITAK competitions), reading, mathematics, English clubs, crafts, music, and sports. Extracurricular activities such as sports tournaments, folk dance training, theater performances, music festivals, and TUBITAK competitions are central to our school. These initiatives have enabled our students to achieve notable success in district, provincial, and national competitions. Furthermore, our school has received recognition from the Ministry of Education for developing innovative curricula.
To promote environmental awareness, we organize annual tree-planting activities, maintain hobby gardens, and involve students in agricultural activities to foster a love for nature. Through participation in the TEMA program, we conduct local environmental projects aimed at preparing students for global challenges such as climate change, global warming, and water stress.
Our school serves 570 students aged 14 to 18, including 27 migrant students from Syria, Iran, Afghanistan, and Azerbaijan. There are also 15 students requiring special education and 58 students from single-parent families. While we address undesirable behaviors that may impact academic achievement, bullying remains a concern. We encourage tolerance, peer interaction, and collaboration to create a positive environment.
Through this project, we aim to improve young learners' awareness of climate change, enhance their skills, and support the integration of refugees, asylum seekers, and immigrants. At least 350 students will participate in local activities such as tree planting, nature trips, and project creation, with disadvantaged students given priority for international mobility opportunities.
